125 years of Coca-Cola by Georgia artist, Steve Penley, is the newest exhibit currently on display in the Pop Culture Gallery of the World of Coca-Cola. This exhibit features a 48 ft. mural painted in honor of the 125th anniversary of Coca-Cola.
On display through May of 2012, the mural highlights unique moments in Coca-Cola history through a series of seven paintings. In addition to the mural, the exhibit includes 4 small paintings of Coke® bottles and a large mixed-media piece.
Coca-Cola is one of Penley’s favorite subjects, and many of his paintings have found their way into the permanent collection of The Coca-Cola Company. His artwork is on display at World of Coca-Cola in the Bottle Cap Suite and our Administrative Offices.
Steve Penley is a Georgia artist who uses a bold, colorful style to depict pop culture themes and iconic American images. His early influences include comic books and television that inform an artistic approach driven by exaggerated brush strokes and rich colors.

Penley was born in Chattanooga, TN, and has been fascinated with drawing and painting ever since he can remember. He graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens and attended the School of Visual Art, New York, NY. Today, Penley lives and works in Carrollton, GA.
