Coke Hands is the newest work of art on display at the World of Coca‑Cola. It was created for Coca‑Cola China by then, 19-year old Hong Kong design student, Jonathan Mak.
This work of art is a red-and-white arrangement of shapes showing two hands literally sharing a bottle of Coca‑Cola. The design was created to encourage people to ‘share’ a Coke. The simple, yet striking design clearly communicates the message of connection and friendship with Coca‑Cola at the center.
As part of the Coke Hands campaign, this work of art was featured on bus shelters and on elevators in Shanghai. It was the recipient of the 2012 Grand Prix Award in Outdoor at the recent Cannes Advertising Festival.
